UBTECH connects Walker S to Baidu's ERNIE Bot

UBTECH linked Walker S with Baidu’s ERNIE Bot as part of a wider plan to incorporate language models into its humanoids. Yicai reports a company video showing responses to spoken instructions, clothing folding, object sorting and advice about matching clothes. UBTECH said such integrations were still in research and development and that the timing of mass production could not be guaranteed. These are demonstrations of a particular integration, not evidence of general household competence. Factory training and later small-batch delivery targets described in the report were forward-looking plans.
